ในวันที่ 20 พฤษภาคม 2568 คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้ให้การต้อนรับคณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษาจาก University of Wisconsin - Madison ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา พร้อมด้วยอาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่จากคณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ณ ห้องประชุมพยัคฆ์ไกรสี เพื่อรับฟังการบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อ “One Health Approach and Detection and Management of Avian Influenza and Zoonotic Diseases” โดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สัตวแพทย์หญิงศรินทร์ สุวรรณภักดี อาจารย์และหัวหน้าศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ
ภายหลังจากการบรรยาย คณะอาจารย์และนักศึกษาต่างชาติได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ประศุอาทร และห้องปฏิบัติการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ เพื่อเรียนรู้กระบวนการด้านการเฝ้าระวังและการจัดการโรคติดต่อจากสัตว์ ตามแนวคิด "One Health" ซึ่งมุ่งเน้นความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างสุขภาพของคน สัตว์ และสิ่งแวดล้อม
กิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสที่ดีในการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านสัตวแพทยศาสตร์และสาธารณสุข และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือทางวิชาการกับสถาบันต่างประเทศ

On May 20, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, welcomed faculty members and students from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, USA, along with faculty and staff from the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University. The delegation attended a special lecture titled “One Health Approach and Detection and Management of Avian Influenza and Zoonotic Diseases” at the Bayaka Kraisi Meeting Room. The lecture was delivered by Asst.Prof.Dr. Sarin Suwanpakdee, lecturer and the Head of the Monitoring and Surveillance Center for Zoonotic Diseases in Wildlife and Exotic Animals (MoZWE).
Following the lecture, the international guests visited Prasu Arthorn Veterinary Teaching Hospital and MoZWE’s Laboratory. The visit provided an opportunity to learn about disease surveillance and management practices under the "One Health" concept, which emphasizes the interconnection between human, animal, and environmental health.
This activity served as a valuable opportunity for academic exchange in veterinary science and public health and contributed to strengthening international academic collaboration.
