ในวันอังคารที่ 30 มิถุนายน 2569 คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล นำโดย รศ.ดร.สพ.ญ.วลาสินี ศักดิ์คำดวง คณบดีคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารของคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ ให้การต้อนรับ Professor Samuel BUFF อาจารย์และผู้อำนวยการของ The ICE Unit and the CRB CryAnim จาก VetAgro Sup ประเทศฝรั่งเศส ในโอกาสเยี่ยมเยือนคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และร่วมหารือความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในนามสถาบัน
การหารือในครั้งนี้ ได้มีตัวแทนคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์จากทั้งฝ่ายบริหาร ได้แก่ รศ.ดร.น.สพ.อนุวัตน์ วิรัชสุดากุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ สื่อสารองค์กร และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ อ.ดร.สพ.ญ.วรัญญา ชาคริตบุษบง ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายวิจัยและนวัตกรรม พร้อมด้วยตัวแทนจากโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ประศุอาทร ได้แก่ รองผู้อำนวยการโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ประศุอาทร ผศ.ดร.สพ.ญ.จีรวัฒน์ สุนทรสิต และ ผศ.ดร.น.สพ.สถาพร โพธิ์จันทจินดา โดยการประชุมมุ่งเน้นไปที่โอกาสในการจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพ การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทางการสัตวแพทย์ และทักษะทางคลินิกปฏิบัติสำหรับนักศึกษาและบุคลากรทั้งสองสถาบัน การจัดกิจกรรมโครงการแลกเปลี่ยนและการฝึกภาคปฏิบัติ ในโอกาสนี้ Professor BUFF ยังได้มีโอกาสเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติวิทยาศาสตร์ (ชั้น 9) ของศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงานของคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ ที่ได้รับการยอมรับในระดับสากล โดยมี ดร.ลดาวัลย์ สาริยา รองหัวหน้าศูนย์ ฯ ดังกล่าว เป็นผู้ต้อนรับและแนะนำสถานที่
ทั้งนี้ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และ VetAgro Sup ประเทศฝรั่งเศส นั้น มีการจัดทำบันทึกความร่วมมือทางวิชาการ (MoU) ตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2560 และดำเนินต่อเนื่องมาถึงปัจจุบัน โดยมีกิจกรรมที่จัดร่วมกัน อาทิ งานวิจัยทางด้านระบาดวิทยา และการจัดกิจกรรมสัมมนาทั้งภาคบรรยายและเชิงปฏิบัติการ เป็นต้น

On Tuesday, June 30, 2026, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang, Dean, alongside the faculty’s executive team, warmly welcomed Professor Samuel BUFF, Professor and Director of The ICE Unit and the CRB CryAnim from VetAgro Sup, France. The visit aimed to strengthen ties and discuss academic collaboration between the two institutions.
The discussion included executive representatives from the Faculty: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Anuwat Wiratsudakul, Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations and Information Technology; and Dr. Waranya Chakritbudsabong, Assistant Dean for Research and Innovation. Representatives from Prasu Arthorn – Veterinary Teaching Hospital also attended, including Deputy Directors, Asst.Prof.Dr. Jeerawat Soonthornsit and Asst.Prof.Dr. Sataporn Phochantachinda.
The meeting focused on future opportunities for capacity-building activities, veterinary knowledge sharing, and clinical skills development for students and staff from both institutions, alongside student and staff exchange programs and practical training.
On this occasion, Professor BUFF also visited the 9th-floor scientific laboratories of the Monitoring and Surveillance Center for Zoonotic Diseases in Wildlife and Exotic Animals, an internationally recognized unit of the faculty. He was welcomed and guided through the facility by Dr. Ladawan Sariya, Deputy Head of the center.
The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, and VetAgro Sup, France, have shared a strong partnership since signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in 2017. Their ongoing collaboration includes joint research in epidemiology as well as co-hosted lectures and hands-on workshops.
