ในวันที่ 9 ธันวาคม 2567 คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ให้การต้อนรับนักศึกษาจาก University of Gothenburg ประเทศสวีเดน เข้าเยี่ยมชมคณะและรับฟังบรรยาย เนื่องด้วย คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล มีความร่วมมือกับ Faculty of Public Health and Community Medicine, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg ประเทศสวีเดน และได้จัดโครงการ Internship Program for Sweden Students “Public Health & Diseases in Thailand – FIELD EXPERIENCE 2024” ระหว่างวันที่ 4 พฤศจิกายน 2567 – 19 มกราคม 2568 ณ คณะสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ สำหรับนักศึกษาหลักสูตร Master Program in Global Health จาก Faculty of Public Health and Community Medicine, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg ประเทศสวีเดน
ในการนี้ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ได้มีตัวแทนจากศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ ได้แก่ ดร. ลดาวัลย์ สริยา (รองหัวหน้าศูนย์เฝ้าระวังฯ) สัตวแพทย์หญิงนรีรัตน์ สังขะไชย นายสัตวแพทย์พีรวัส วงษ์ลือชัย และ ดร. สัตวแพทย์หญิงณิชารีย์ อินทร์คำ ร่วมต้อนรับนักศึกษา และเป็นวิทยากรบรรยายพิเศษในหัวข้อเรื่อง "Zoonotic disease prevention and control measure: Lesson learned from One Health approach" ก่อนนำเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ณ ศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ ชั้น 9 อาคารเรียนและปฏิบัติการรวม คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

On December 9, 2024, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, welcomed students from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, for a visit and a special lecture. This visit was part of a collaboration between the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Public Health and Community Medicine, Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg. The partnership involves the internship program for Swedish students: “Public Health & Diseases in Thailand—FIELD EXPERIENCE 2024”, at the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, Thailand, which takes place from November 4, 2024, to January 19, 2025. The program is designed for students enrolled in the Master Program in Global Health at the University of Gothenburg.
Representatives from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, including Dr. Ladawan Sariya (Deputy Head of the Monitoring and Surveillance Center for Zoonotic Diseases in Wildlife and Exotic Animals (MoZWE) along with Dr. Nareerat Sangkachai, Dr. Peerawat Wongluechai and Dr. Nicharee Income, veterinarians from MoZWE, warmly welcomed the students and served as guest lecturers with the topic entitled “Zoonotic Diseases Prevention and Control Measures: Lesson Learned from the One Health Approach.” Following the lecture, the students took a facility tour at MoZWE laboratory, located on the 9th floor of the Lecture and Laboratory Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University.
