ในวันจันทร์ที่ 3 มีนาคม 2568 ที่ผ่านมา คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล นำโดยรองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. นายสัตวแพทย์อนุวัตน์ วิรัชสุดากุล รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์ สื่อสารองค์กร และเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศ และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สัตวแพทย์หญิงศรินทร์ สุวรรณภักดี หัวหน้าศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่นและสัตว์อพยพ ให้การต้อนรับการเยี่ยมเยือนอย่างไม่เป็นทางการของ Dr. Ronello Abila, former Sub-Regional Representative พร้อมด้วย Dr. Kinley Choden, Animal Health Officer จาก World Organisation for Animal Health for South-East Asia (WOAH SRR SEA) ในการเยี่ยมเยือนคณะ และรับฟังการบรรยายเกี่ยวกับการดำเนินงานของศูนย์เฝ้าระวังและติดตามโรคจากสัตว์ป่า สัตว์ต่างถิ่น และสัตว์อพยพ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ก่อนเข้าเยี่ยมชมห้องปฏิบัติการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ของหน่วยงานดังกล่าว บริเวณชั้น 9 อาคารเรียนและปฏิบัติการรวมฯ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตศาลายา WOAH SRR SEA และคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้มีความร่วมมือทางวิชาการอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ความร่วมมือและการจัดกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสุขภาพสัตว์ป่า โรคติดต่อจากสัตว์สู่คน การติดตามและเฝ้าระวังโรคจากสัตว์สู่คนตลอดจนการจัดกิจกรรมที่ส่งเสริมการพัฒนาศักยภาพของบุคลากรที่ปฏิบัติงานด้านสัตว์ป่า

On Monday, March 3, 2025, the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuwat Wiratsudakul, Deputy Dean for International and Public Relations and Information Technology, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarin Suwanpakdee, Head of the Monitoring and Surveillance Center for Zoonotic Diseases in Wildlife and Exotic Animal (MoZWE), warmly welcomed the informal visit of Dr. Ronello Abila, former Sub-Regional Representative of the World Organisation for Animal Health for South-East Asia (WOAH SRR SEA). He was accompanied by Dr. Kinley Choden, Animal Health Officer from the same organisation. During the visit, the delegation received a briefing on the operations of MoZWE before touring MoZWE laboratories on the 9 th floor of the faculty’s Learning and Laboratory Building at Salaya Campus. WOAH SRR SEA and the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, have maintained ongoing academic collaboration, particularly in areas related to wildlife health, zoonotic diseases, disease surveillance and monitoring, as well as capacity-building initiatives for personnel working in the field of wildlife health.
