คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ดำเนินโครงการ 2nd Summer Horizons Laboratory Trainings in Veterinary Sciences เสร็จสิ้น พร้อมจัดกิจกรรมเยี่ยมชมวิทยาเขตกาญจนบุรี และศึกษาวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น
คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ได้ดำเนินโครงการ 2nd Summer Horizons Laboratory Trainings in Veterinary Sciences ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 14–19 กรกฎาคม 2568 เสร็จสิ้นลงโดยสมบูรณ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาทักษะด้านห้องปฏิบัติการทางวิทยาศาสตร์ให้แก่ผู้เข้าร่วมจากทั้งในประเทศและต่างประเทศ ผ่านการฝึกอบรมใน 2 หลักสูตร ได้แก่ Molecular Biology Laboratory Program และ Rabies: Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralization Test (FAVN) Laboratory Program โดยมีคณาจารย์และบุคลากรของคณะฯ ให้การถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และกำกับดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด
ในวันสุดท้ายของการจัดอบรม ทางคณะได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สัตวแพทย์หญิงวลาสินี ศักดิ์คำดวง คณบดีคณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล เป็นผู้มอบเกียรติบัตรการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทุกท่าน
นอกจากกิจกรรมในด้านวิชาการแล้ว เพื่อเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ในเชิงพื้นที่และวัฒนธรรม คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ได้จัดกิจกรรมเสริมภายหลังเสร็จสิ้นการฝึกอบรม โดยเมื่อวันที่ 19 กรกฎาคม 2568 ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการได้มีโอกาสเดินทางไปเยี่ยมชม คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล วิทยาเขตกาญจนบุรี เพื่อศึกษาภารกิจของคณะฯ ในด้านการเรียนการสอน การบริการวิชาการ และการวิจัย
นอกจากนี้ ผู้เข้าร่วมยังได้ร่วมกิจกรรม ศึกษาวัฒนธรรมท้องถิ่น ณ แคมป์ช้างทวีชัย เพื่อเรียนรู้วิถีชีวิตและภูมิปัญญาของชุมชนในพื้นที่ และ ถ้ำกระแซ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านประวัติศาสตร์และธรรมชาติที่สำคัญของจังหวัด
คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ขอขอบคุณผู้เข้าร่วมทุกท่านที่ให้ความร่วมมือและเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมด้วยความตั้งใจ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่า โครงการนี้จะมีส่วนช่วยในการส่งเสริมการแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้ และส่งเสริมการสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการในระดับนานาชาติอย่างยั่งยืน

Mahidol University Faculty of Veterinary Science Concludes the 2nd Summer Horizons Laboratory Trainings in Veterinary Sciences with a Visit to Kanchanaburi Campus and Cultural Learning Activities
The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, successfully concluded the 2nd Summer Horizons Laboratory Trainings in Veterinary Sciences, held from 14–19 July 2025. The program aimed to enhance scientific laboratory skills among participants from both domestic and international institutions through two specialized training programs: the Molecular Biology Laboratory Program and the Rabies: Fluorescent Antibody Virus Neutralization Test (FAVN) Laboratory Program. The training was delivered by experienced faculty members and staff who provided in-depth academic instruction and close supervision throughout the course.
The closing session of the program was highlighted by a certificate presentation ceremony, in which Associate Professor Dr. Walasinee Sakcamduang, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, graciously presented certificates of completion to all participants, recognizing their dedication and active engagement throughout the training.
To enrich the participants’ overall learning experience through cultural and regional exposure, the faculty organized supplementary activities following the conclusion of the laboratory training. On 19th July 2025, participants visited the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, Kanchanaburi Campus, where they learned about the faculty’s missions in education, academic services, and research work.
In addition, participants joined cultural learning activities at two locations in Kanchanaburi province. The group first visited Krasae Cave, a historically and naturally significant site, followed by an experiential visit to Thaweechai Elephant Camp, where they gained insights into local wisdom, community life, and the human-animal relationship within the context of traditional Thai culture.
The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, extends its sincere appreciation to all participants for their enthusiastic involvement and cooperation. We hope this program continues to serve as a meaningful platform for international knowledge exchange and the sustainable advancement of veterinary science professionals and students worldwide.
