From May 15–18, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuwat Wiratsudakul represented MoZWE and Wildlife Health Collaborating Center, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Mahidol University, at the Asia-Pacific Wildlife Health Conference 2026. The event was held at the Henan Institute of Science and Technology (HIST) in Henan Province, People’s Republic of China. This international conference has been held continuously since 2023, aiming to build a strong network of academics, practitioners, and policymakers in the field of wildlife health across the Asia-Pacific region. This year, the conference’s main theme was “One Health Innovation and Regional Collaboration: Building a Shared Community for Wildlife Health in the Asia-Pacific Region”.
During the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anuwat Wiratsudakul was invited to present on “A One Health Perspective on Disease Ecology & Conflict Mitigation at Human-Macaque Interfaces in Thailand.” The presentation garnered significant interest among attendees and led to constructive discussions aimed at establishing future academic collaborations
